Life-Changing Experience
“I found Argentinian Tango captivating and beautiful to watch and looked into learning. I’m so glad that I did, because the community is so warm and welcoming. I can have a bad day, but turn it around with a night of Tango. The community is really like a second family. It’s a blessing to have the expertise and passion of Stuart and Chanelle. They are inspiring and gracious. I’m so glad I gave Tango a try, now I’m hooked!”

– Tango is more than a dance. Tango is a Way of Life –
The Journey Of Teachers Stuart and Chanelle Saliadarre
Stuart Saliadarre, an Argentinian, alongside his wife Chanelle, share the artistry of Tango, drawing from four generations of tradition.
Their lineage traces back to Buenos Aires, where they learned from the esteemed Conca family, with roots extending to Tango luminaries Fernando Galera and Vilma Vega. These mentors, known for shaping professional champion Tango dancers and adjudicating at the prestigious Tango Mundial in Buenos Aires, instilled in Stuart and Chanelle a deep understanding of Tango’s nuances.
With over 20 years of collective dance teaching experience, Stuart and Chanelle bring a wealth of knowledge to their teaching, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with contemporary insights. Students benefit from their expertise, gaining a profound connection to Tango’s essence.
Beyond teaching, Stuart and Chanelle cultivate a vibrant Tango community, organizing captivating performances and cultural events. Each dance is a testament to their belief in Tango as a profound expression of life and love.
Whether guiding beginners on their first steps or refining the technique of seasoned dancers, Stuart and Chanelle embody the spirit of Tango: passion, elegance, and a profound connection to the music and partner. With each graceful movement and heartfelt embrace, Stuart and Chanelle invite students to embark on a journey of self-discovery and artistic expression, where every dance becomes a symphony of emotion and connection.
In Stuart and Chanelle’s hands, Tango transcends mere steps; it becomes a profound meditation on life, love, and the beauty of human connection. With each class, Stuart and Chanelle leave an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of students, instilling in them a lifelong love affair with Tango that extends far beyond the dance floor.
Join Stuart and Chanelle on a journey into the heart of Tango, where tradition meets innovation, and every step echoes the legacy of generations past.

Our Happy Students
“Tango has also become a form of self-care for me. When life gets overwhelming or too stressful, I’ll often just put some music on and practice by myself to forget about the world. I always feel happier after dancing, and more able to handle things that come my way. Since my marriage ended, I have had problems with stress and anxiety: Tango has helped me immensely with coping with these by getting me out of my head and helping me be mindful of what I’m doing in the present moment.”

The Gold Coast Tango community has been a welcoming and inspiring space for me to learn and grow as a dancer. I moved to Australia from overseas and found myself with no friends or social circle.

I never thought I could enjoy dancing tango, but Stuart and Chanelle’s lessons changed everything for me.
